Vasya is an elderly cloakroom attendant who has worked at the Moscow Art Theater for many years. Posing as an actor, he tries to help two teenagers who love the theater as much as he does get into the Moscow Art Theater School. However, everything changes when a new female ticket collector learns about his secret.
