Russia, end of XIXth century. As war against Great Britain approaches, a strange device is found in the Imperial Palace, a mechanical flea. A young officer, Piotr Ogariov, is in charge of the investigation. With the help of a forgotten genius from Tula, they enter a world full of plot and danger. They will have to make a difficult choice between duty and feelings.
