Plot synopsis
The action of the film takes its start from the last days of Pushkin and ends with the death of Lermontov. The great poet is shown here through his genius rhymes – suffering, joyful, inspired, rebellious as he was.
This film is about fatal destiny of a poet in Russian and it is in by all means direct antithesis for official canon of historical biographical genre.
