Plot synopsis
Russian Moses is a harrowing tale that reveals the story of Red Army officer and local guerrilla warrior, Nikolay Kisilev, who saved the lives of 218 people by helping them to cross the front line. In 1941, the Germans invaded the village of Dolginovo, Belorussia where 5000 Jews resided. The unprecedented slaughter of the Jews was unleashed in 1942 and only 278 people managed to survive. Nikolay Kisilev, lead this dangerous expedition to cross 1500km of occupied territory with 270 Jewish refugees. This harrowing tale of hope and determination is sure to impact.
