Biography
Writer, scriptwriter, director.
Born in Moscow in 1973.
Studied at the actor's faculty of the Theatre Institute GITIS, thenistudied
scriptwriting and film history at the Film Institute VGIK (graduated in 1997).
Author of several novels ("Genacide", "VITCH"), which have repeatedly appeared on the long-lists of the largest national literary awards.
Winner of the prize "Debut of the Year" of the journal "Znamya" for the novel "Genacide".
Author of scripts for the films "The Man from Capiota" (dir. A. Bogatyryov, in production), "Buggy" (2010, in co-authorship, dir. A. Bogatyrev).
"State of Emergency" is his first full-length film as director.
