OHNNY O’REILLY (1970, Dublin, Ireland). Studied Russian and Classics and Trinity College, Dublin. In the 1990s worked as a journalist in Russia and graduated in film studies at New York University. In 1997 made his first short “Empire State”. The film “The Terms” won 21 prizes at international festivals and was short-listed for an Oscar in 2003. In 2005 together with Mike Figgis he wrote and directed the experimental film “CO/MA”. Since 2006 has been living in Russia and working as a directed and producer. In 2010 directed and co-wrote the thriller “The Weather Station”.
