Biography
Born in 1972. Silvestrov is a director and producer and the co-founder of the film club "Cine Fantom" as well as the artistic director of the International Video Festival in Kansk, Russia. His films have been screened internationally at major festivals, e.g. Rotterdam, Moscow or Venice. He produced the BIRMINGHAM series in collaboration with Berlin-based performance artist Yuri Leiderman. In 2014, his film MOZG / BRAIN was screened at goEast as well as his production ZA MARKSA / FOR MARX.
