Le film présente au spectateur l’ancienne tradition copte orthodoxe orientale du chant religieux qui trouve ses racines dans l’Égypte ancienne. Les coptes sont les descendants directs et les gardiens de la culture des anciens Égyptiens. The film narrates about the singing tradition of the Eastern Orthodox Coptic Christians, which has its roots in Ancient Egypt. The Copts are known as immediate descendants and guardians of the culture of the ancient Egyptians. Connected with their heritage through language and melody, the Copts did not abandon the Egyptians’ millennia-long musical legacy but re-interpreted it through the prism of Christianity, creating a very special style and unique masterpieces of spiritual melodies of liturgical chant.
