Plot synopsis
An art historian, a former student of the Leningrad Academy of Fine Arts, found himself a priest in a church in the village of Terebene in the Pskov region. He has been officiating there for 14 years already. The parishioners do not always manage to understand their learned priest, they consider him an eccentric. However, people come not only from neighboring villages, but also from St. Petersburg, Moscow and even Paris to ask Father Georgi for advice. Mother Valentina, born in this village, also has her own idea about Father Georgi and the existence of the universe.
