Plot synopsis
Made after A. P. Chekhov’s story. Princess Marusya fell in love with her attending physician Toporkov, who didn’t notice her love and married a rich merchant. In several years he had to treat her again and at last her strong feeling melted his stony heart, but it was late – Marusya died.
