Biography
Vladimir Kocharyan is a documentary filmmaker and curator. Born and raised in Yakutia in the family of an Armenian father and a Sakha mother. He was a creative producer at the Lendok Documentary Film Studio and executive director of the Iskusstvokino magazine. He is now curator of the Golden Apricot Film Festival and is involved in film research. In 2024, his documentary film dedicated to Yakut cinema "Yakut cinema - between worlds" will be released.
