Was born and raised in Siberia, in the town of Zheleznogorsk (Krasnoyarsk region). She was first introduced to filming in the "School House" video studio, under the guidance of S. D. Voznesensky. In 2013, Maria entered the All-Russian State Institute of Cinematography (VGIK) and joined the workshop of S.V. Miroshnichenko.
