Plot synopsis

The film is dedicated to the history of the preservation and restoration of a collection of Italian sculpture of the 15th-16th centuries from the Bode Museum (Friedrich Kaiser Museum) in Germany, including works by such iconic masters as Donatello and Verrocchio. The works of outstanding masters were damaged during the Second World War. Some of them were lost without a trace, and some were moved to the State Hermitage and the Pushkin Museum.
