Plot synopsis
Many years ago, a government scum led Elizabeth Yakovlevna’s husband into
the labyrinth of courtyards that comprise Leningrad. Many years later, Elizabeth
Yakovlevna still believes that he is wondering among the labyrinth, trying to locate
an exit. She takes revenge for her disappearing husband on all the new government
scum, who are identical to the previous bastard. And a person continues to wander
among the courtyard labyrinth in current day St. Petersburg. In this labyrinth fate,
faces, and shadows get lost. In this labyrinth it is possible for love to get lost –
love of one’s growing hate ‑ hate of the inability to find an exit from this labyrinth.
