Plot synopsis
A romantic comedy about the lives of young people in present-day Moscow. Vera, a television newscaster, meets Tim, an attractive young man working for an advertising agency. She falls in love with him. She is in luck, her feelings are reciprocated and Tim falls in love with Vera. The two have plenty in common: both are underpaid, overworked and exposed to a serious amount of pressure.
Their stress-filled lives don’t seem to affect their relationship adversely; on the contrary, the stress even seems to have a positive effect on their love affair. No wonder then, that their feelings for each other begin to deepen. But then, the first anniversary of their relationship dawns. Vera comes home in fine fettle – only to discover Tim in bed with Iloomyi, a young Kalmuk boy.
From this moment on, our heroes begin to lose all control of events to come …
