Aleksei Kamynin (b. 1989) graduated from the Higher Courses of Scriptwriters and Directors, workshop of V. Khotinenko V. Fenchenko P. Finn (2015). The first education is the journalism faculty of Moscow State University. He worked as a television journalist (Rossiya-1, Dozhd), a reporter and columnist for Slon, Russian Reporter and GQ, then went on to documentary films and finally to fiction films.
