Born in Leningrad. Studied at the philological department of the
Leningrad University (1970 –1973). Graduated from the acting
department of the Leningrad theatrical Institute (1977, class of
R.Agamirzyan), from the Higher Courses for Scriptwriters and
Directors (1984, class of A.Mitta). In 1977—1980 she was an
actress at V.K.Komissarzhevskaya theatre, in 1988 she became a
director at «Lenfilm» Studio. Since 1996 she is the general manager
of the aesthetic center with the St.Peterburg State University.
