Andrei, a talented photographer, holds Marina, a deaf young model,
captive in his apartment on a busy boulevard in the middle of Moscow.
Andrei justifies his actions by imagining he is doing them for the sake of
his art. He is unaware of Marina’s forceful character, and the
psychological duel that ensues will change them both.
