Plot synopsis
The film "I Have Not Forgotten You" tells the story of the short but brilliant life of Ergash Khamraev, an actor and playwright of Soviet cinema. He was friends with the most interesting people of the 20s and 30s, people who laid the foundations of the new art in Uzbekistan.
In July 1941, the young reserve lieutenant Ergash Khamraev was drafted into the active army. In February 1942, he died in Vyazma.
In the film, Ali Khamraev, a film director and playwright, talks about his father. He found the grave of Ergash Khamraev in the village of Chaschiovka and then, over the course of many years, reconstructed his life story and the details of his disappearance from archives.
The film is dedicated to those who fell during the Great Patriotic War.
