The film is set in the post-war years on the territory of Western Ukraine. Ren's gang settled in one of the Carpathian villages. With her help, the leaders of the Ukrainian nationalists in Munich want to get the lists of Nazi agents left behind during the retreat of the Nazis. Soviet security officers, with the help of the village teacher Maria Shevchuk (Nina Antonova), expose and destroy Ren's gang.
