Damir Yusupov could not even imagine that one day he would become a real hero. An ordinary boy, he dreamed of flying and was sure that he would follow in the footsteps of his father, a pilot, but fate decreed otherwise. Years later, when even the closest people lost their faith, Damir nevertheless managed to realize his cherished dream and became a civil aviation pilot. And only thanks to his courage and devotion to his beloved work, 233 lives were saved: in August 2019, when both engines failed in the plane, he managed to land it in a cornfield.
