Polina takes her first steps towards an independent life and goes on a trip to the wild taiga with new friends. Moving deeper into the forest, they find a settlement of mutant people bearing the burden of the consequences of an environmental disaster. For Polina, Monke, who has lived in the taiga since childhood, becomes her main acquaintance of the summer, her love and her test.
