Lyrical and eccentric “retro” based on the prose of the remarkable Leningrad poet and prose writer Vadim Shefner.
Several stories from the life of a Leningrad pioneer in the 1930s. Vitya Shumeikin lives with his aunt in a communal apartment on Vasilyevsky Island. He often finds himself in unpleasant situations, further complicated by his sharp tongue. Then, trying to get the stuck ball, he falls off the ledge and ends up in the hospital. Then he and his friends will make fun of physical teacher Ermolai Spiridonovich Chumov - an active social activist, superman and womanizer - and turn into his main enemy. Then he will go sailing on a motor boat, and the engine will stall in the middle of the bay, and the boat will leak. But every time Vitya will emerge victoriously from risky situations with the help of his friends - peers and adults - cute eccentrics like himself.
