Vladimir KOCHARYAN: "This film is, on the one hand, a documentary study of what lies behind the term "Yakut cinema" - the philosophical tendencies, religious practices and personal motivations of the participants in a movement that goes far beyond beyond cinema, on the other hand, it is a journey to my homeland, to my memories, an attempt to record not only the state of Yakut culture, but also the state of my family. and of myself.
I am very happy that the premiere will take place at the festival, for which the study of indigenous culture is not an abstract subject, but a long-standing tradition and mission. Furthermore, without the faith of producer Maxim Mussel and the support of the Yakut community, it would have been impossible to make this film. I very much hope that we will have the opportunity to organize the premiere in Russia, where this film is a must-see."
