Plot synopsis

The Snow Queen and Father Frost were once old friends who learned the magic of cold together. But their paths diverged when the Snow Queen, envious of her friend's strength, stole the magical artifact from which Father Frost drew his strength and performed magic. The wizard was able to defeat the sorceress with some difficulty and imprisoned her in an ice prison. Thousands of years later, in our time, a boy named Yura finds the Snow Queen's ice staff at a New Year's fair and unwittingly frees her. Returning to the modern world, she decides to take revenge on her sworn friend and comes up with a cunning plan that will freeze the entire world on New Year's Eve. For this purpose, she kidnaps the boy and takes him to the ice kingdom. To thwart her machinations and save not only Yura, but the whole world, Father Frost will need the help of the sorceress Baba Yaga, Ivan Tsarevich, Marya the Artisan and other magical creatures.
