Plot synopsis
In 1953 when Stalin’s health drastically deteriorated, his immediate associates decided to find his double who could attend meetings and parades. A provincial god-fearing Jew Moisei Pichkhadze was chosen for the part. He was placed in an empty house in the mountains and the preparation began. When the leader died his double became dangerous since he now knew what he was not supposed to know. Thus another Soviet citizen disappeared without a trace…
