Plot synopsis
The lines of the love poem Wait for Me (by Konstantin Simonov) dedicated to V. S. – Valentina Serova – are known by heart and have been recopied by hand and etched on military weapons since World War II. They have been translated into all languages possible. The actress Valentina Serova was bowed to, imitated and envied. Her marriage and affairs, which seemed the epitome of Soviet happiness, are talked about by the whole country to this day. But the most famous woman of the Soviet era was destined to become the most lonely and forgotten.
