The life of a young man named Andrew (Maxim Matveyev) takes a sudden and thoroughly startling turn one New Year's Eve, when he accidentally dials the wrong phone number and on the other end encounters Alyona, a beautiful young woman. The two forge a nearly instantaneous relationship, but on a tragic note, Alyona is actually on her deathbed, and thus seemingly destined to leave the world soon. Andrew then decides to intervene and attempts to turn the tide of history by changing the young woman's fate.
