Plot synopsis
The film is about the inability to love. Two sisters – Vera and Nadya are the main heroes of the movie. Vera is the elder, single and lost in life. Nadya is not divorced yet, however she is completely confused in the relationship with her husband. In general, they are just ordinary families with their ordinary problems. But the time during which they live, the summer of 1993, is not ordinary at all. However, the heroes do not seem to notice that life has changed so much. The complicated and outplayed family relations seem endless and painful for everybody. And right at that moment, the so-called “new reality” sinks in and its main victim becomes Vera’s daughter – Irina.
