The film is about the Russian officer, who in peaceful
time, having excellent education in the field of
higher military justice, sacrificed his life. 35-year old
Konstantin Vasiliev tried to safe hostages, among
whom were women and children. He hurried to live,
wrote poems, liked good music. He had a little
daughter. Being broad-shouldered and with open
heart, Kostya reminded Ilya Muromets. Without any
arguments he went there, where the misfortune
came. The phrase “to put one’s heart for the sake of
the friend” that we gladly use so often, found deep,
sacrificial, real meaning in the act of courage of the
Russian warrior Konstantin Vasiliev.
