Plot synopsis
Sometimes all we need is a mirror. To have a look at oneself. To have a candid look. To study one’s face and love it. To love one’s soul and its torturous processes unable to find a way out of the seemingly beautiful Today. And also to have a look at one’s Yesterday. With the eyes of a hopeful child. With the eyes of a doubting teenager. To love one’s Yesterday and Today. And also one’s vague Tomorrow, whatever it may be. Nothing is ever clear and certain. Our entire life is a search for questions, answers, compromises. Our entire life is a great Miracle. The film was shot at the initiative of the former resident of the Vologda orphanage Evgeny Shirikov. The movie features children from three Russian orphanages.
