Plot synopsis
There were once two brothers. One was a banker, the other a musician. The banker was young, had done well in life but was unmarried. The musician was married, had two children but was a double bass player. Their father, a naval officer, dies and leaves one a dagger and the other a small boat. The mother, left alone, lets herself die because life no longer has any meaning for her. The two brothers are very different. They have never loved each other but their desire to save their mother brings them closer. The pelmeni, this is their plan to save her. The mother would make pelmenis and therefore live and they would eat them, and their friends, their colleagues, the families of their colleagues, the musicians of the orchestra, the woman's lover, the keeper of the philharmonic, the lover of the younger brother, would eat pelmenis. But there were far too many pelmenis and the brothers were only two.
And too bad if they were in trouble and very few people came out of it, they got out of it. We can fix everything when we have eternal values; a mother and pelmenis that she kneads.
