Three childhood friends, the Mute, the Go-getter and Gueka, have only one obsession: to get a suit made by a Western tailor who, they think, will open the doors to adulthood, but also to the high life.
It will take the Mute being killed by the rejected suitor of a young girl he had fallen in love with for his two friends to realize the futility of their actions, the "sacrifice" of their comrade marking the beginning of their entry into adulthood.
