Plot synopsis
Film about the painter Valentina Kropivnitskaia, one of the organizers in 1974 of the first free exhibition "Bulldozer Exhibition" of contemporary avant-garde painters, which was violently dispersed by the authorities. Valentina, her husband, Oscar Rabin, their son, Alexander Rabin, the art critic, Alexander Gleser and their fellow painters changed forever the situation of contemporary art in the USSR.
