Plot synopsis

The heroes of the film are the boarding school No. 1 in Moscow, where blind and visually impaired children are taught. They explore the world, learn to make friends and spend time with other children, play sports and music, modeling and drawing. Every day the children walk with a cane, write with a pencil for slates and see with their hands. The children have long been accustomed to the daily schedule, and it is precisely this stability and repetitive life that allows the childhood of visually impaired schoolchildren to be extraordinary and very happy.
