Baikal: Code Red is a full-length documentary about Lake Baikal, a “Siberian paradise” that is losing its primeval character before our eyes. This film is about caring people who are trying to save the lake and the territory around it. They are local people, nature reserves employees, scientists, religious leaders, and ecologists. These people cannot imagine their lives without Baikal, which is still with us now and which we can lose tomorrow.
