The Predmet Theater and the Jewish Museum present the play "The Sacred Talisman". Combining theater techniques with cinematographic techniques, the film creates a visual-musical universe of childhood memories. A great war of adults mercilessly invades this world of isolated children. The film features poems and songs in Yiddish from the repertoire of reciter-melocler Leibu Levin, who traveled through war and Soviet camps. The title of the film refers to the image of his poem of the same name. The sacred talisman is a white goat from an old Jewish lullaby, a symbol of childhood, a reminder of paradise, hope that the war will one day end.
