Plot synopsis
After graduating from school and failing in exams at the medical institute, and then at the theater school, Elvira (Mikaela Drozdovskaya), at the insistence of her mother, is hired as a nurse to the sick mother of her neighbor Sergei Sergeevich, an assistant professor at the archaeological institute. The planned disposition of the institute employee turned into a sincere friendship. Elvira got a job in a hospital and began seriously preparing for a medical institute. And when Sergei Sergeevich went on a long expedition to Central Asia, she wrote letters to him and knew that, counting the days, he was waiting for her arrival.
