Vera is an animation artist. Her husband and son died. To overcome her grief she decides to move to a small town on the Volga. There Vera becomes the leader of an animation workshop for children. Among them she notices a little boy who makes scary drawings. Vera decides to help the child overcome his fears with the help of animation.
This is a film about the fragility of children's personal limits and the causes of violence from "loving" parents.
