One day, Papa Carlo gets an ancient magic key that helps fulfill any wish. The lonely master wants only one thing - a son. The wish is almost fulfilled, but the log comes to life, and a smart, cheerful and wooden boy appears from it. Papa Carlo loves his son very much, but Buratino gradually realizes that he is not like everyone else, and sets off on a long and adventurous journey to prove to his dad: he is a good and real son.
