Documentary-stage film to the 100th jubilee of A.T.
Tvardovski.
It is 1954. A.Tvardovski is writing a letter to
N.Khrushchev with the request to rehabilitate the
family dispossessed in 1931. Three chapters of the
film - “Kulak’s Son”, “War”, “New World” - are
composed of the recently published diary notes and
letters of Tvardovski as well as the unique documents
from the archives of NKVD (Peoples’ Commissariat
for Internal Affairs) and TsK KPSS (Central
Committee of the Communist Party of the Soviet
Union).
