Plot synopsis
The successful businessman Sergei Karaganov comes to hunt on his days off to the forest where the local huntsman Arthur Malakhov, a man of hard lot, tours every day. He is accompanied by the dog-wolfhound that usually pokes in the bushes. The hunter will shoot when the dog appears on the path. He is ready to pay any money for the killed animal but hears in reply: «This dog didn’t cost money, it cost a good gulp of vodka». The huntsman offered him a flask; Sergei took a sip and …comes to himself in the basement with the iron dog collar on his neck. There is a bowl for dog’s food next to him. On the second day the huntsman descends to the basement and explains the reason for incarceration: he decided to make a dog out of Sergei and to shoot it.
