Plot synopsis
Trofim Rusanov, a senior inspector of the Fishing Control, considers himself to embody the Law and people around him to be “swines and thieves”;
through the will of circumstance he
finds himself in the taiga, alone with
nature, tens of kilometres away from human habitation. What happens to
him in the snow-covered taiga radically changes his view on life.
