The film is inspired by the works of Stepan Pissakhov, a famous writer, painter and traveler from Archangelsk, who continues the tradition of folk storytellers of Northern Russia. The main hero of his tales is the villager Senya Malina, a dreamer and joker, to whom amazing stories keep coming... This time he is helped by a big fish friend of his, Mademoiselle Lotte. And even the gluttonous Sergeant does not manage to disturb their gaiety.
