At the end of June 2019, a flood occurred in the city of Touloune, in the Irkutsk region. Hundreds of houses were flooded and some were washed away. The residents were not prepared for such a scale of disaster and only managed to get the children out and take some documents. Many remained on the roofs of their homes to protect their property from looters. But the water level rose higher than expected, and people were evacuated by boats. There are victims. The filmmakers selected four families and watched their lives for six months after the disaster. They are trying to figure out what caused the flooding. How helpless is a person in the face of the elements? How do you find the strength to start from scratch?
