Seventeen-year-old Artiom is invisible in his family and rebellious in high school. In Artiom's family we do not understand each other: the brothers despise each other, the mother works twenty-four hours a day and hardly speaks with her sons. On the other hand Artiom has a great friend, Kostia. In high school they are outsiders. Finding himself by chance in second place in the list drawn up by the college management of those who can set fires, Artiom decides to show that he is in fact number one. Kostia is mad about himself and betrays his friend by persuading the boys in their group that he, Kostia, is the main and only inspiration behind all their pranks. And nobody needs number two. It now seems to Artiom that he has only one way to make himself heard...
