Everything that cameramen, famous or unknown, filmed for documentary cinema during the century of the cinema's existence is in the vaults of the Krasnogorsk archives. The archives with limited access belonged to the all-powerful NKVD. Access to the archives was an opening on part of the history of the Russian Empire and the Soviet Union. It is a return in time, nowadays to an unknown past.
