Plot synopsis

In her mid-40s, Kira Georgievna (Simonova) is married to older artist Nikolai (Sergey Dreyden). She is much involved in making a massive sculpture of Lenin in her studio with the help of bohemian assistants. Out of the blue, her ex-husband Vadim (Igor Mirkurbaganov) shows up, coming back from the Gulag...
