Plot synopsis
A small town, like hundreds of others. Once, all the life turned around the mines; now these cities are deserted. The mines have long been destroyed and plundered. There are children without fathers, mothers without sons, and wives without husbands. Everyone is propelled to Moscow to earn money. But the work in this place Moscow is not permanent, dirty and humiliating. In between jobs, the protagonist comes back to the small miner’s town, to his beloved woman…

"Miner's day" A desolate mining town in Russia. Several years ago it was an excellent place to live and work. After the mine was closed down, what is left is just old barracks and people who lost the sense of life. There is a family in this forlorn town who still tries to survive in these difficult and hostile conditions.
