Plot synopsis
The film has all the outward signs of yet another portrait of the “weird”, the original human specimen, which non-fiction cinema began to look for in the late 1980s. and many have succeeded in this. Here, the “freaky” of retirement age is called Kirill Ignatievich. He heals animals. From all around, people come to him with livestock - cats, dogs, birds: both newly born and aged. However, not only the sick or the crippled are being led, but the dead are being carried, because Kirill Ignatievich has a serious need for them. It turns out that the main goal of his life is to exterminate the flies. The method of extermination is simple: the flies sit on cadaverous meat, in a simple way, a "fly-throne", lay their larvae there, then Kirill Ignatievich cooks this meat - and that's it, the flies are finished. Such is this bearded old man, an inhabitant of the "animal farm", looking around which, the author from time to time changes the focus of his gaze - the biological texture is enlarged, the patriarchal-idyllic veil falls off, and the "yard" turns into ... a place of execution
